Comprehensive course on the theory and application of Image Processing Techniques. The course covers:

• How a camera works (ISO, Aperture, shutter speed etc.)
• Camera calibration algorithms
• Image pre-processing (blur, binary mask, dilation, erosion)
• Algorithms such as: Thresholding, edge detection, segmentation etc.
• Practical hands on examples implementing these techniques on images
• Advanced worked examples implementing YOLO algorithms.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Conceptual understanding of how a camera works
• Conceptual understanding on pre-processing of images to improve algorithms performance
• Develop algorithms to perform techniques such as segmentation, object tracking, object identification etc.
